Jesse Verle Bollman

Jesse Verle Bollman passed to his eternal home on June 17th after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and lung cancer. It was fitting for him to be called home on Father's Day since he was a wonderful father and grandfather. He continually sacrificed of himself to bring joy into the life of his family. He loved taking his sons to work on the farm and practice target shooting from their youngest days. Camping, boating and water skiing were family favorites for many years. In his later years he loved playing pinball with his grandchildren and giving them rides on his electric wheelchair. He loved western movies, country western music and was a founding member of the Cowboy Hall of Fame. He was also a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. Jesse was born in Chickasha, OK to John August Bollman and Stella Bollman on September 5, 1936. He married Jeanette Theresa Vogt on February 1, 1958. Together they had 4 sons and 6 grandchildren. Jesse is survived by Jeanette; son Jimmy Dale Bollman and wife Amy and daughter Jaimie; son Stephen Joseph Bollman and wife Shelly and daughters Anne Marie and Mary Rose; son Christopher Lee Bollman and his wife Pam and son Nathan and daughter Sarah; grandson Matthew Bollman; brother Wesley Bollman and wife Diana; brother Carl Bollman and wife Merline; and sister Elenia Cook. He is predeceased by his parents; son Michael Keith Bollman; brothers Cecil and Johnny Bollman; sisters Elsie, Lillie, Sybil, and Pat.
