Jill Ann Resetar

Jill Ann Resetar was born in Oklahoma City on April 25, 1969 to Patricia Harris (Stufflebean) and the late James C. Harris. She left this world to join her Dad in Heaven on January 28, 2019, leaving behind her husband, Gary Resetar, her sons, Cole and Conner Resetar, her Mother, Patricia Harris, her sister, Deborah Harris, her Brother, James C. Harris Jr and his wife Valerie Harris, her nieces, Amy Joplin and Lisa Harris, and many other family members and many, many friends. Jill attended Western Oaks Elementary School, graduated from Putnam City West High School, and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma. She married her husband Gary on March 23, 1996 and they lived in Oklahoma City where they raised their two boys. Jill became a Certified Court Reporter and worked for several Court Reporting firms in Oklahoma City, most recently with Verbatim Reporting. Jill was always very active. She played softball with her childhood and high school friends. She often spoke of running around the track at Putnam City West High School with her Dad when she was growing up and led to her running track at Putnam City West High School. Jill was also a Twirler at Putnam City West. Jill loved working out and loved her many vacations to Hilton Head Island and snow skiing with her family. She especially loved to watch her sons play sports, especially baseball. Jill had an amazing smile that lit up the room. She was very creative, from decorating her home to her cookie baking and decorating, which allowed her to show off her creativity. She loved animals and had two dogs, Zoey and Jake and she would often make sure stray animals were out of harms way or help lost animals find their families. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, February 2 at 10 AM.
