Jill Dunn Parker

Jill Dunn Parker was born in Lubbock, Texas on the 4th of July 1934, and in her early days she thought all of the fireworks and celebrations were for her. She died from complications of peripheral artery disease in Oklahoma City on January 20, 2022.Her parents were Jack Dunn Sr. and Evelyn Bryan Dunn of Farwell, Texas: a suburb of Clovis, New Mexico that Jill called her home. Jill was a housewife, equestrian, golfer and avid sports fan. She was a graduate of Stephens College, Columbia, MO where she switched from western style riding to gaited horses. She graduated from University of Oklahoma in 1956 where she met her husband of 65 years, Byron D. (Bud) Parker and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Jill was a long-time member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She donated her time and talents to many local civic organizations.
