Joan Mccue

Joan McCue died AUGUST 15, 2021 after losing her battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, John Henry Latty, and mother, Eileen Faye Latty. She is survived by her husband, Linus Leroy McCue, son, John Michael McCue, daughter in law, Amy J. Padgett-McCue, grandchildren Caitlin Davis and husband Ryan Davis, Riley McCue, Raechell McCue as well as brother John Latty and his wife Dianne Latty and nephew David Latty. She was born July 20, 1946 in Lanagan, Missouri. She moved to Lakin Kansas with her parents in her early teens, where she eventually met her husband. Some of her wonderful memories involved the extensive traveling she enjoyed including many trips to Hawaii for whale watching, New York City to see broadway shows, and an Alaskan cruise. After living in Branson Missouri for a few years, she spent her later years were spent in Oklahoma City loving every moment with her 3 grandchildren. She spent many years baby sitting, having sleep overs, attending school plays, sporting events and graduations. She was a housewife, devoted mother, and grandmother. She never wanted any attention and hated to be fussed over. She was always worried more about the feelings of those around her. She will be greatly missed.
