JoAnn Bishop, lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, passed away April 15, 2015. She was born August 6, 1956, in Oklahoma City. She grew up in Oklahoma and Texas before returning to Oklahoma City where she worked for many years at St. Anthony Hospital as a nurse assistant and unit secretary. At one time, she managed and later owned a Dairy Queen in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed playing BINGO and going camping. She loved taking care of people. She was very out-going and bright with a big personality and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee Roy Green and Betty Hobza, daughter, Crystal and brother, Jackie Green. She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Frank; daughter Rebecca Walker and husband Chris; son, Anthony Bishop; two brothers, Ronnie and Bobby Green; five grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor and wife Amanda, Zackary Walker, Abbey Walker, Lanie Bishop, and Anthony Bishop II; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Josh Taylor; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. at Smith & Kernke May Chapel.
