Joe Hodges

Joe Hodges, 84, passed away on July 6, 2024, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Joe was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Harold and Emily Hodges.

Joe attended Oklahoma State University where he was a member of Phi Delta Kappa, a Professional Educators Society, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He furthered his studies at the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained his Master of Education degree. Joe served as a Principal for several Oklahoma City public schools and was a Deacon at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Joe was preceded in death by his father Harold, mother Emily and brother Bruce. He leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving family members: brothers Jerry and Steven; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Joe will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith and Kernke N. May. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, followed by a burial at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
