John A. Robinson (a.k.a. Jack or Robbie) passed away on October 23, 2019 surrounded by his beautiful and devoted wife, children and grandchildren.Jack was born on April 13, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Margeurite Robinson. He went to school in Plymouth, Michigan and he often talked about his fond memories of being the captain of his varsity football team. After graduating from high school in 1951, Jack joined the United States Air Force where he fell in love with aviation. After leaving the Air Force in 1955, he then went to the Federal Aviation Administration and became a safety inspector. His dedication for flight safety granted him a long career with the FAA which afforded him extensive world travel. Jack retired from the FAA after 35 years and proceeded to spend his time maintaining a fleet of rental properties.What Jack enjoyed the most was working in the yard with his "sweetie" and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Maureen A. Robinson, his children John Keough (Heather), Patti Daniels (Doug), Laurie Hudson (Kara); grandchildren Chelsea Gumerson (great-grandchild Rachel Lyne), Brittany Keough, Colton Sulley, and Cooper Sulley. As well as, his nieces and nephews in Michigan, Canada and Oklahoma.He was proceeded in death by his parents William and Margeurite Robinson, beloved son Jeffrey Robinson, and brother William (Bill) Robinson. Jack was truly a kind, loving and great man. A true steward of his family, and maverick in his time, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
