John D. Bush, M.D.

John D. Bush, M.D. was born in Stroud, OK, to John W. and Mary Donich Bush. He passed away May 5, 2016, in Oklahoma City. He moved to Tulsa with his family where he graduated from high school in 1952 and then from Tulsa University in 1956. Dr. Bush then attended OU Medical Center, graduating in 1960 and completing his residency in radiology in 1965. Dr. Bush served as a Captain in the U.S. Army from 1966 - 1968. He was a partner with Radiology Consultants from 1965 - 2000. He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Cathie; four children, Kathy Lynn, Liz Briggs and husband Blaine, Tay Sha Howell and husband Eric, and Matt Bush and wife Angie; and 12 grandchildren, John Lynn, Christopher Lynn, and Anna Lynn, Holly Ende, Matthew Briggs and Morgan Briggs, Riley Howell and Ellie Howell, Austin Bush, Blake Bush, Emily Bush and Brenden Bush.
