John Paul Braniff, Jr.

John Paul Braniff, Jr., age 67 of Oklahoma City, passed away November 19, 2019. He was born March 1, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John Sr. and Genevieve Marie (Moran) Braniff. John proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He continued on in his career through civil service as a contract negotiator. John was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanne Hardey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tess; his loving siblings, Phil (Sylvia), Mike, Rebecca Russo (Hon. Michael), Mark (JoAnn), Francis, Phyllis; and brother-in-law, Dr. David Hardey; as well as numerous extended family and friends. An evening prayer service will be held 6:30 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Smith & Kernke 23rd Street Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
