John (Jack) Milligan, born July 5, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on November 12, 2010 from legionnaire's disease. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Billie Milligan; sister Donna Royer of IA; his sons and their families: Mark and Rhonda of OK and children Justin, Renee, Sammy, and Cassandra; David and Kim of KS and children Dan, Kristin, Tyler, Monica, and Morgan; Michael and Michelle of OK and children Matthew, Jack, Joe, and Fitz; Patrick and Joan of MI and children Taylor, Mitchell, and Callan. Also survived by sisters-in-law Yvonne Henry and Myra Wright of MS. Jack grew up in Shenandoah, IA, attended S.W. Missouri St. College, and served in the USAF. He worked for Standard Oil of Indiana (Amoco) where his last transfer brought him to OKC in 1964. After 30 years of service he retired at the age of 47 and started his own company (Turnpike Services; J&J Petroleum). He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church where he served on the School Board, was a lector in his early years, and delivered mobile meals to the homebound. A tremendous athlete, he was a true sports fan and devoted Sooner, enjoyed entertaining and interacting with his sons and grandkids, Big Band era music, Branson, and most especially trips to Hawaii and Mississippi. An avid and accomplished golfer, his greatest joy was the recurring 'Milligan Shoot-Out' with his sons in Gulfport, MS. Jack was a joy to all who knew him, and will always be loved and never forgotten.
