John William Teague was bomApril28, 1918, in Magnet Cove, Arkansas to Anele and Bessie Teague. He died March 5, 2011, in Integris Baptist Medical Center after a short illness. He came to Oklahoma in 1943 to work for the Santa Fe Railroad. He retired in 1979 from the railroad after 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, watching college basketball and football and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a great husband and father and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Ross Teague and his wife of 71 years, Dorothy M. Teague. He is survived by a daughter, Vuel Coulter, a son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Cookie Teague, two grandsons and their wives, Greg and Michele Coulter, Derrick and Julie Teague, and granddaughter Angie Taylor; great-grandkids Haydon Taylor, Hallie Taylor, Katie Coulter, Ellie Coulter, John Coulter, Samantha Teague and Ethan Teague and special family member John Taylor.
