Johnna had a big heart and a laugh that left an imprint on your heart. She extended her love to everyone. Johnna had a trademark for making people laugh even in the direst situations. She loved her family, friends and making people happy. She had an eye for accessories, a nose that could identify every note and a heart that would hug you for a lifetime. Johnna was a lover of animals, and reality TV, with a drive for adventure and generally a good time. Johnna's tender soul will live on among those who love her. Johnna graduated from John Marshall High School in 1971. She soon began a career in sales and merchandising spending over two decades working at Essentials in Cassady Square, welcoming all who shopped there with warmth and humor. She knew the life stories of man customers, making them feel special and very comfortable. Johnna extended her heart to numerous family members, as well and opened her heart and stories to many peers. Abby and family basked in her glow and always had a loving memory to share. She loved her sister Courtney Ann and often put up with her nonsense; also loved her mother. Until Johnna fell ill a year ago, she visited her mother almost daily, helping around the house running errands, for which her sister is eternally grateful. In short, it mattered that Johnna was in the world, and the people around her were never sad. She toughed many people in profound ways. She will always be in our hearts and her laughter will resonate for decades to come. "Rest in Paradise sweet doll." -Courtney Vaughn-Robertson
