Joseph John Reale, 90 died in the comfort of his home on June 24th, 2014. Born June 23rd, 1924 in Kansas City, Mo. DurIng WWII he was part of the Normandy Invasion landIng on Omaha Beach and served under General Patton's 3rd Army. Honorably discharged in 1945, he lived in places such as Stockton, CA., (where he met his wife of 52 years, Evelyn Frye), Lake Tahoe, NV., and eventually settled down in Oklahoma City, OK in 1956. He found his niche in termite and pest control, when he earned a job working for Terminex in 1956. In 1976 he founded his own company, Farm & Home Termite and Pest Control. He retired in 1998. His personal inter¬est was f irst and foremost, his faith in God through Catholicism, his country in which he fought for, and his love for his family and close friends. Other interests include hunting, fishing, gambling, and all-AmerIcan football, especially the Oklahoma Sooner program. He is predeceased by his parents Ferdinand and Josephine Reale; his wife, Evelyn Reale; his brother Pat Reale; and many aunts, uncles, and friends. He is survived by his sisters Geraldine Shep¬herd and Marie DuRall; chil¬dren, Darla Roach with her husband, John; Gwen Brunton with her husband Wayne; and Franklin Frye; grandchildren, Anthony Reale with his wife, Lisa; Joseph Brunton with his wife, Tara; and Shane Brunton; great-grandchildren Nicolas Reale, Mia Reale, Christian Brunton, Emma Reale, Sofia Reale, and Corey Brunton; and many loved nieces and nephews. There will be an evening prayer service at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel on Friday, June 27th at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Jones, OK on Saturday, June 28th at 10:00 am, followed by the burial at Resurrection Cemetery in OKC. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend. A celebration of life luncheon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28th at 10320 N. Kelley Avenue, OKC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Wounded Warrior Program.
