Joy Jacobs

Joy Leech Jacobs, 93, of The Village, passed away on Nov. 9, 2024. She was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Omega, OK, to Roy and Pearl (Brandes) Leech. She graduated from Watonga High School with the Class of ’49. After graduating from Draughan School of Business, she married Robert D. “Bob” Jacobs in Watonga on July 30, 1950.

She is survived by daughter, Pamela Leibrock (Larry), and daughter-in-law, Joyce Jacobs; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren; as well as a niece and nephew both of Norman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob on Sept. 22, 1988, son Curt on Jan. 5, 2021, and brother LeRoy Leech.

Joy’s family would like to thank her neighbors in The Village for their kind and loving care.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at 10 AM at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
