Joyce Lee Sehorn

Joyce Blalock Sehorn, died May 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waldron, Arkansas, July 14, 1932 to Lester and Rosie Richmond. She began school at 3 years of age and graduated at the age of 16. She married Otis Blalock on October 1, 1952 and with his being in the US Army, they were stationed all over the world, such as, Germany, Greenland, Korea and France. Otis died April 15, 1985. In May of 1964, they adopted three month old Debbie in New Orleans, LA. Joyce was a realtor and known success, being a top seller in the 1970's and '80's for Dub Stone Real Estate and Roy McCoy Real Estate Companies. Joyce married Bill Sehorn in 1991. He preceded her in death in January of 2012. Joyce retired in 2000 as secretary for Pipkin and Estes, Attorneys at Law. Joyce will be remembered as a loving mother who treasured time with her family and caring for her pets. She also enjoyed attending estate sales, antiquing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Melba Hill and Sue Rogers; niece, Brenda Hill; and Joyce's two husbands, Otis and Bill. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lykins and husband Eddie; brother, Andy Richmond and his wife JoAnn and their children, Todd, Chad, Jonathan and their grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local animal rescue or humane society to honor Joyce's memory. A private memorial will be held in the home at a later date.
