Julie Ann Bryan

Julie A. Bryan (58) of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on November 5, 2018. Born in Columbus, Indiana on June 26, 1960, the youngest child of the late Donald G. and Janet L. Sharp. She graduated from Purdue University with a business degree ('82) and completed her MBA from Oklahoma City, University ('86). Julie was a Director of Development at OCU for many years before she decided to spend her time chasing her 3 sons in their school and after school activities. Nothing came close to the elation of being a mother. From freezing on a soccer field to huddled under a blanket at a football game she never complained. Her beaming pride kept her warm. As far as she was concerned, there was only one athlete on the field and everyone else was in the way!! She was their perfect fan. She is survived by her husband, Jerry E. Bryan of Oklahoma City, OK, her sons, Connor S. Bryan of Oklahoma City, OK, Cameron M. Bryan of Fayetteville, AR, and Hayden M. Bryan of Oklahoma City, OK. Sister, Beverly Stokes (Michael) of Pensacola, FL, Brother, Jon Sharp (Pam) of Iquique, Chile and Sister, Susan Peck of Columbus, OH, and numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday November 9, 2018 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City, OK. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 1401 NW 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73106 is scheduled from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
