Julie Carole (Randelman) Peter, 76, was born June 22, 1944, in Oklahoma City. Julie joined her beloved husband on February 25, leaving behind the pain of COVID-induced isolation. Julie devoted her life to her family and helping others. She was a leader in the community and a fixture in the local medical world. She was a well-regarded motivational speaker, lover of all things Sherlock Holmes, adventurous gardener, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will always be remembered for lighting up whatever room she entered and for her increasingly extravagant hats. Julie grew up in Oklahoma City; attended Christ the King Elementary School and Bishop McGuinness High School, before graduating from Northwest Classen High School in 1962. After attending college, Julie entered the workforce early as she found her professional calling – running medical office operations. Soon, Julie found her passion in family, which she began building with the love of her life, Stephen Baird Peter, in 1972. Julie served on various community service boards and helped to support the family efforts in countless community initiatives. Toastmasters International was also a large part of her life and is the organization that taught her the communication and leadership skills that she so willingly shared with friends and family. She was a wonderful and loving woman who, in her later years, enjoyed retirement, traveling with her husband, and further developing her overwhelming book collection. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Burton and Bernice A.
