Karen Noel Ronconi Lack

Karen Noel Ronconi Lack, 78, passed peacefully from this life on February 24, 2014 in Oklahoma City. She was born on August 10, 1935 to Pauline Novey. Karen taught Kindergarten for Oklahoma City Public Schools at Hillcrest and Parmelee Elementary for nearly 40 years before retiring. Karen was an active member of the K.K. I. Teacher sorority for a number of years and a longtime member of Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her mother; husbands Caesar Ronconi and Ed Lack; Grandmother Caroline Looney; aunts Captola Thomas and Alice Wiser; uncle Rurhl Looney; and her two special Friends Pickelineo and Peanut her faithfully Chihuahua companions . Karen is survived by her Aunt Margaret Dodson of Denver, CO; nephews Paul Dodson and wife Margaret of Denver, CO, Perry Dodson of Utah, Paul William Thomas of Tulsa, OK and friend and caregiver Gavon Mosher. Special Thanks is given to her care givers David and Tina Pitts, Sol Amor Hospice, and the Wing 3 staff at South Point Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. on Friday February 28, 2014 at Baptist Temple, located at NW 30th and Villa. Memorial Contributions are asked to be made to Baptist Temple music program or Raise the Roof.
