Kathaleen Amelia Buchholz, age 87, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, October 11, 1931 and passed away April 18, 2019. Kathaleen was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Central High School and met her husband Albert W. Buchholz as a freshman at Oklahoma City University. They raised six children, were married for 48 years before Albert passed away. As the children grew older, she went back to college and in 1989, at age 56, she graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked as a court clerk and magistrate assistant at the United States Court House, Western District located downtown Oklahoma City for 24 years before she retired in 2005. She enjoyed her federal service career and made many friends and happy memories. She survived the 1995 bombing and heavily grieved the loss of many lives and friends. She was commended for her unwavering resolve and dedication afterwards. She was active and held volunteer positions in many organizations though out the years, Cub Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Troop Leader, German American Heritage Association and Eastern Star. She was an active bible scholar and member of University Place Christian Church and Northwest Christian Church. She was well known for her sense of humor, affectionate smile and cheery attitude. Proceeded in death by her husband of 48 years, Albert William Buchholz; parents, Milton Moore and Amelia Katherine Buerger; and brother Elbert Buerger (Sonny). She is survived by her sister Ivaleen Seward (little sis); children Albert Buchholz Jr; Robert Buchholz and wife, Michelle; William Buchholz II and wife Dianne; Maurice Buchholz; Mark Buchholz and wife Lisa; and her daughter Katrina Uhls and husband Jeff. She is survived by many grandchildren, Nicholas Buchholz, Grayson Buchholz, Trevor Buchholz, Spencer Buchholz, Chelsea Prasek, LeAnn Dolan, Alexandria Buchholz, Samantha Buchholz, Shan (Trey) Buchholz, Zachary Buchholz, Austin Dommer and Evan Dommer. Survived by great-grandchildren, Anna and Reagan Prasek; and Evan Dolan. Also survived by many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, Dan Uhls and wife Emily, son Colt and soon-to-be born Audrey; Jennifer Uhls-Pace and husband Garrett with son Isaac; and Bryan Uhls. She had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers who she missed as her health declined. As it says in Scriptures, "you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith."
