Kathie Ann Berg

Kathie Ann Berg sadly passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 77 due to Parkinson’s disease and heart failure at Mercy Hospital.

Kathie Ann Holland was born on September 9, 1946, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She attended grade school in Cushing, Duncan and Walters where she enjoyed drama, dance, and cheerleading. She also did some modeling that led to her being a calendar girl one year. Following high school, she attended Central State University and also became a licensed cosmetologist. In addition, she worked at Massachusetts Mutual and Tinker Air Force Base doing clerical work for a time.

When Kathie was 30, she became a mother to her only daughter. Later, she became a grandmother to two grandchildren who would affectionately refer to her as KK. She was always an extremely devoted daughter, mother and grandmother who gave as much love as she received in turn. She was also a devoted dog mom to many little fur babies over the years that were spoiled completely rotten!

Kathie was predeceased by her father Vernon Oliver Holland, her mother Flo Etta Holland, and her older sister Carolyn Sue Lewis. She is survived by her daughter Angela Sue Hayes, her son-in-law Michael James Hayes, her grandson Tyson Everett Hayes, her granddaughter Gabrielle Ann Hayes and last but certainly not least her long-haired Chihuahua Bella.
