Kathleen Elizabeth Hosek

Kathleen E. Hosek, 88, of Oklahoma City, died on July 19, 2016. She was born on January 12, 1928 in David City, Nebraska to William and Veronica Theewen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, of 55 years and her sister, Joanne Tlamka. Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Bouges, of Lincoln, NE, her four daughters: Diane Fulton and husband Neal of Alexandria, LA, Janet London and husband Ron of Albuquerque, NM, Linda Perdue and husband Wes of Eden Prairie, MN, and Carol Bertels and husband Mike of OKC; her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Gary Fulton, Lisa Jaramillo (Jason), Greg, Phillip (Danae), and Aaron London, Adam (Mallory) and Chris (Staci) Perdue, and Ryan and Jason Bertels. Her great-grandchildren gave her tremendous pleasure: Cruz, Eva, and Mac Jaramillo. Her devotion to God and love for her family gave her great comfort and peace. She truly never met a stranger. She got to know people on a personal level by sharing life stories and taking a sincere interest in them. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Evening prayer service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Smith & Kernke and a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church at NW 19th and Portland.
