Katherine Alice Davis Hauk of Oklahoma City died Thursday from complications of early onset Alzheimer's. Kathy was born March 20, 1951. She attended Christ the King Elementary School and graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School in 1969. She attended Oklahoma State University. She worked in the IT department of Louis Dreyfus/Dominion Oil Company until her diagnosis.
Kathy lived a life marked by love and kindness. She was very involved at St. Charles Catholic Church and loved volunteering at her children's schools. Kathy had many friends she loved and who loved her. The family is especially grateful to Lynn Fulco, Margie Humphries, Hazel Zorn and JoAnne Griswold for their love and support. The family would also like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Baptist Village of Oklahoma City and Golden Age Hospice.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Davis, and her father, Charles Davis. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Don Hauk; her children, Brian Hauk and Brian's wife Amber; Megan Pence and Megan's husband Jason; her beloved grandchildren Austin, Jordan, McKaylie, Jackson, Brooklyn and Briley; her brothers and sisters Steve Davis, Mary Pat Love, Mike Davis and Ann Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home on N. May from 6 - 8 pm Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
