Kerri Elizabeth Reeves

Kerri Elizabeth Reeves was born July 9, 1973, in Oakland, California. She went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2024.

She grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Christian Heritage Academy. Kerri then studied journalism at Baylor and the University of Central Oklahoma.

She enjoyed writing, collecting books, and watching sports - especially the Chicago Bulls, 49ers, and Oklahoma Sooners.

Her friends fondly remember her infectious laugh and her nickname “Half - Pint”. She volunteered at Wings and was involved in the Children’s Ministry at Crossings Community Church.

Kerri’s greatest joy in life was her children Laynie, Aedan, and Colin Smith. She was active in supporting them in their endeavors. She enjoyed watching Laynie compete in volleyball and she loved encouraging Aedan and Colin in their athletic adventures. She looked forward to the day when Aedan and Colin could play football. Kerri’s greatest hope in life was that her children would grow up to love the Lord and serve Him.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Brenden Smith. She is survived by her parents, Bill and Mary Reeves and her brother and his wife, Chris and Melanie Reeves and their children Meacham and Margo.
