Kevin Keith Price (born July 1, 1955) of Oklahoma City, OK passed away from this life surrounded by friends and family on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 after suffering a traumatic brain injury. Kevin was born in Oklahoma City to Lloyd Keith Price (deceased) and Naomi Kerce (deceased). He attended Millwood Elementary and graduated from Putnam City Highschool in Oklahoma City. Upon graduation, Kevin attended the University of Central Oklahoma until he enlisted in the United States Army. While in the Army, Kevin completed hundreds of parachute jumps with the 82nd Airborne Division and traveled the country competing as a member of the 82nd Signal Bn. Airborne Division pistol team. After his service, Kevin joined his father and brother, Gregory K. Price, in the family business, Oklahoma Tank Lines now United Petroleum Transports, where he served for over 30 years as Vice President of Business Development until his retirement in 2017. Kevin married Susan Dingman (now Powers), of Bartlesville, OK, and together had three children: Justin Keith Price, Kristofor Lloyd Price and Kirby Kenneth Price over the course of their 12 years of marriage. In 2001, Kevin married Shayna Vorse, of Oklahoma City, and remained married until his death. Kevin lived in Quail Creek for over 25 years and enjoyed traveling, golfing, cooking, playing gin rummy and entertaining countless friends at his home. Kevin was extremely generous with a large, soft heart and was always the life of the party who possessed an incredible wit with the ability to make a joke on any occasion. Kevin was deeply loved by his family and many, many friends. He is survived by his wife Shayna Price, his three sons Justin Price and wife Tobey Price, Kristofor Price and wife Kacie Price, Kirby Price and wife Romi Price, eight grandchildren Avarey Price, Madelyn Price, Tucker Price, Isla Price, Phoebe Price, Liza Price, Joseph Price, Jude Price and his brother Gregory K. Price and wife Donna Price. In honor of Kevin, donations may be made to the L. Keith Price Family Fund at The Oklahoma City Community Foundation.The Price family will host a Life Celebration Reception for all family and friends on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club from 11:00-2:00 p.m. (lunch is provided).
