Larry F. Dumas went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on September 29, 1945 and after leaving high school, served our country (U.S. Army) in the Vietnam war. Upon returning from service, he met and married his surviving wife of 53 years, Faye Annette Dumas (Roberson). Together they lovingly raised their three children in Oklahoma City. Larry was a gifted commodities broker, entrepreneur, and business owner. More importantly, Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was "all in" for his family and always sought to help them be all that they could be. Larry was kind, generous, and engaging to most anyone he met. In spare time, Larry loved to golf - but most of his time was spent focused on his family. He loved the Lord and studying His word. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Blackwell; sister, Patricia Brecheen; and granddaughter, Andie Rae. He is survived by his wife, Faye Annette Dumas; daughter, Deborah Knighton (and husband Joe Knighton & children, Brandon & Nate); son, Larry Dumas, Jr. (and wife Chandra Dumas & children Kale, Peyton, and Chase); daughter, Angela Dumas; siblings, William Dumas, Yvonne Dumas, Pamela Wicke, Preston Dumas, and Sandra Dumas; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be available to greet friends during visitation Wednesday 4pm – 6pm at Smith & Kernke N. May Funeral Home. Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
