Laura Emmaline 'Laura Metzger Brennwal Brennwald

In Loving Memory of Laura Metzger Brennwald, born August 7, 1930, and died September 2, 2012. Laura grew up in Orlando, Florida where she graduated high school and was employed by Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Co. as a service representative. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and a representative to Beta Sigma Phi City County. In 1971, Laura became a real estate agent while living in Saratoga, California, and quickly became very successful. Laura loved animals, playing bridge, waterskiing, and travelling with Lou, her husband of 44 years. Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Carnett W. Metzger, her husband, Louis Brennwald, and her son, Lawrence D. Brennwald. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ross Plourde, and their sons, Alec and Eric, and by her daughter-in-law, Patty Brennwald, and Patty's husband Vern Munion and sons, Andrew and James Brennwald. Services will be held in the Chapel of Smith & Kernke, 14624 N. May, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Central Oklahoma Humane Society.
