Laura Lou Pitts

Ms. Laura Lou Pitts, 79 passed from this life to her heavenly home surrounded by family and friends on 2/25/13. Laura was born 4/21/33 in Little Kansas, Okla. to George and Lucy (Dry) Pitts and is a member of the Osage and Cherokee tribes. She was a resident of NW Oklahoma City where she lived with her beloved sister Lottie. Ms. Laura was a very active longtime member of the Legion of Mary of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Ms. Laura loved to serve and spent many years visiting those in the hospital or homebound with illness. She graduated from UCO and worked as an X-ray Technician before retiring to provide full time care for Ms. Lottie who passed away in 1994. Ms. Laura is preceded in death by parents George and Lucy (Dry) Pitts, her sister Lottie Kipp, nephews Raymond and Richard Kipp. Ms. Laura is survived by nephews David Supernaw and wife Glenda, Kenny Peery, Charles W. Supernaw and Bill Abrams and a host of relatives to mourn her passing. A day of viewing and a 7pm evening rosary will be held 2/28/13 at Smith &Kernke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am 3/1/13 at St. Charles Borromeo with interment at 3pm in Hominy, Ok.
