Lauri Lea Miles

Lauri Lea Miles was born on Feb. 23, 1954 in San Diego, CA. She died Aug. 26, 2012 in Edmond, OK. Throughout her life, Lauri had many interests. She was a hairstylist, a school secretary and a chef. She was great with children and could make an everyday event exciting and special. She was also very active in her own children's school. She enjoyed snow skiing, camping and family gatherings. Lauri is preceded in death by her parents, Albert McKinnon and Estelle Ainsworth. She is survived by Greg Miles; Daughter, Christa Pitman and her husband Gabe and their children, Gracie, Jack and McCormick; Daughter, Allison McPherson and her husband Michael and their children, Bryden and Adelynn; Daughter, Katelyn Miles and Cord Butler and their son, Lyric Butler; Sister, Susan and her husband John Harris; Sister Vicki and her husband John Scogin; Brother, Keith and his wife Patti McKinnon; Kent and his wife Terri McKinnon; Brother, Kelly and his wife Suzi McKinnon; Brother, Kevin and his wife Julie McKinnon. Visitation will be held from 4pm-6pm on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
