Lawrence Karl 'Larry' Rauen

Lawrence (Larry) Karl Rauen, a lifelong Oklahoma City resident passed away June 2, 2013. Larry was born February 3, 1921 in Harrah, OK the son of Jesse L. and Anna L. Skrapke. Larry was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp for four years. Larry was a war hero having received the Silver Star Medal and Purple Heart. After his military service, Larry worked for the Federal Aviation Agency until his retirement. Larry was an active member of the VFW Post No. 1857 during his retirement years. He is survived by his nephews, Rick Skrapke and wife Rhonda; Mike Skrapke; his sister-in-law, Trenny Skrapke all of Enid; two great nieces, Angela Shakelford and Ashlee Skrapke; and a great nephew, Alan Skrapke. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jesse Skrapke; and a sister Virginia Skrapke.
