Leroy Joseph Krebs passed away peacefully on Satur¬day, January 9 with his be¬loved wife, Elnora Pau¬line, by his side. Leroy was born in 1934, and was one of eight chil¬dren raised in Johnston County, OK. He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa in the late 50s and went to work for 32 years as a machinist at Tinker Air force Base where he retired in 1993. Leroy is survived by his wife, Elnora Pauline, his daughter, Deborah Griffin and husband Paul, Edmond, OK and his son, Larry Krebs, Memphis, TN. In addition, he is survived by his grand¬children, Lauren Sorgen, and husband Bryan, Edmond, OK, Mallory and Joseph Krebs, Memphis, TN, great-grandchildren, Landon, Wil¬liam Nash, and Savannah Sorgen, Edmond, OK. He is also survived by his broth¬er, Donald Krebs, Ft. Worth, TX. An evening prayer ser¬vice with Rosary will be held Tuesday evening at 6 PM at Smith & Kernke 23rd St Cha¬pel, with the Mass of Chris¬tian burial to be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday, Janu¬ary 13, 2016 at St. Joseph Old Cathedral in Oklahoma City. Leroy will be laid to rest with military honors in Tishomingo, OK.
