Lila Lee Dilis peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 21. Born in Cleo Springs, OK, on Aug. 19,1925, she spent her early years in Ames and Enid, OK. During WWII she met and married Algerd Dilis. Homemaker and excellent seamstress, she retired from Hertz International Reservations. Always a believer in helping others, she served as State Regent and National Director of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was also a member of the Catholic Women's Activities group. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jim, three sisters and a brother. She is survived by husband, Algerd, daughter, Evelyn (Frank) Saxton, Newalla, OK; sister, Alta Anthony, Enid, OK; grandchildren Shari (Frank) Bross, Guthrie; Frank II (Ginny), Mandeville, LA; Scott Saxton, Harrah, OK; 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be Friday, May 23rd at 7 p.m. at Smith and Kernke North and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 24th at noon at Christ the King Catholic Church.
