Lillian Schaub died on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 in Okla. City. She was born on Dec. 5, 1928 in Denver, CO to Reverend Everett and Minnie Hendrix. The family moved to Guthrie, Okla. in 1941 where Lillian graduated from Guthrie High School in 1947 and also met Warren Schaub. She attended OSU in Stillwater for one year and then trained at Wesley Hospital in OKC for three years to become a registered nurse in 1951. She and Warren were married on August 10, 1951. For the next twenty-seven and half years they had a wonderful life while Warren was in the U.S. Army. She was an outstanding army wife. He retired in 1979 and they have lived in Okla. City since then. Lill was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir, enjoyed quilting and various church activities. She was a member of PEO Chapter CT. They loved to travel throughout the U.S and the world including a trip she chose on the upper Amazon River. She was a member of the Okla. Blood Institute for many years until retirement. She loved playing the piano and organ and loved the many dogs she had owned over the years. Lill was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Warren of 64 years; a son, Tom Schaub; a daughter, Heidi Sathers; three grandchildren, Kendall Schaub, Riley Sathers and Jeffrey Wells. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 from 11am to 8pm at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in the Village. Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, OK. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Health Foundation, 13321 N.
