Lillian Mulcahy

Lillian Mulcahy passed away with her family at her side on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born on September 17, 1927 to William and Lillian Cobb in Greensboro, North Carolina. Lillian met her husband Bob at a dance in Washington, D.C. where they both worked for the F.B.I. They married on June 17, 1950 at St. Matthew's Cathedral in Washington D.C. and had 4 children. Lillian was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Eugene's Parrish and enjoyed volunteering in the school library for many years. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, her beloved cats and listening to Irish music. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Lillian O'Donnell and William Pitts Cobb and her brother Richard Cobb. She is survived by her husband Bob, children Maureen Martin and husband Dr. Chris Martin, Kathy Pool, Richard Mulcahy and wife Robynne, Kelly Lyons and husband John along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thanks to Sooner Hospice especially Shawna and Tara for making her last days comfortable.
