Loving wife and mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a long courageous battle with cancer on April 14, 2012. Born June 9, 1944 in Ada, OK. Linda known by many as "Kay" graduated from Latta High School in 1962. She married Juel D. Davis June 1965 and they were married for 39 years until his death. Linda retired after 33 years with the Department Of Defense, Air Force on February 1, 2002. As a dedicated professional she received many awards during her career including the prestigious Exemplary Civilian Service Award for her distinguished performance as the sole Aircraft Reclamation Manager for the B-52 Weapon System at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. She earned her Private Pilot's License. Linda had a fun loving adventurous spirit and enjoyed watching her husband and daughter skydive and made a few skydives herself. She loved traveling with her family, friends and dog Macy. She enjoyed attending church and was a member of Britton Road Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Kay Wilkinson and husband Michael of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, one brother Ishmal Tatum and wife Oma of Ada, Oklahoma and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juel Davis, her parents, Dave and Pauline Tatum, and two sisters, Christene Tatum and Ethelyne Tatum Arterburn.
