Linda L. Wright went to heaven November 22, 2018. She was born January 29, 1941 in Durant, Oklahoma to Malcolm and Thelma Williams. Linda was an only child and developed lifelong friendships with several "Durant girls" who were always considered by Linda to be family. She loved to play, had a wonderful sense of humor, played the piano beautifully, and was a gifted school teacher. As a teacher, Linda pioneered the learning disabilities program for the McAlester public schools in the 1970s and reached many children over her many years as a school teacher, "unlocking" their ability to learn. She finished her teaching career at Dennis Elementary in the Putnam City School system. She was an avid bridge player and was active with the Salvation Army. She loved her many, many friends and her family. Linda leaves behind a daughter, Carrie L. Foster, husband Paul, granddaughter Dee Webster, husband Jared, and granddaughter Sarah Foster.
