Linda Marie Silvernail

Linda was 74 years of age when she went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Linda was born October 26, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Ray and Hettie Herndon. On November 27, 1959, Linda married Marvin Dale Silvernail, her high school sweetheart, and they made a wonderful life together as soul mates. Linda was a beloved wife, mother and mother-in-law, sister, and friend. She is survived by Dale, her devoted husband of 57 years; daughters, Shelli Lott McGill and Cindy Mayberry, grandchildren Hunter Lott, Micah and Madison Mayberry and son-in-law Dirk McGill; daughter-in-law Lindsey Lott, and great grandson Remington Lott. Linda walked with the Lord and her faith was solid; it was a way of life and not a philosophy. Although small in stature, she had amazing fortitude, mighty resilience, and quiet strength. Even in the midst of intense suffering, she was kind and considerate, always placing others before herself. We value her wisdom and courageous honesty in speaking the truth, combined with a gentle and loving spirit; these qualities inspire us daily. To all who knew her, she was beautiful in every way. She graduated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City and worked for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. Linda was an active member of Quail Springs Baptist Church.
