Lois Rebecca Smith-Duncan

Lois Rebecca Smith was born on Dec. 18, 1927 in Houston to Oran & Julia Moore. She grew up in Bryan and attended North Texas State Univ. where she received a MSEd. She married Hal Davis Smith in 1953 in Corpus Christi. They were blessed with children Carol and Dean. The family moved to OKC in 1958. Lois married Hall Duncan in 1998 in Cape Town S. Africa. Lois loved spending time with her family. She was a devote Christian and very active in church. Lois was a wonderful friend and always had her home open to others. Lois passed away on Oct. 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her first husband Hal Smith and parents. She is survived by her husband Hall Duncan, daughter Carol Harlan and husband Marvin, son Dean Smith and wife Lainney and grandchildren Amy, Tyler, Luke, Jacob, Landry, Carter, Kylie, Kimber, Quynh Harlan and Austin & Ashley Smith. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ventures for Children International.
