Lonnie Eu"Gene" Sigman passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on June 10, 2012 with the dignity and grace he held his life with. Born Feb. 16, 1931 in Ardmore, OK, he was an only child son to Lonnie Adam Sigman and Gladys "Mimi" Sigman. There he met Mary Elizabeth Scrivner, the love of his life and they were married 58 years. They shared a passion for traveling worldwide, gourmet cuisine, art, and the love for their family. Gene loved the Lord and was a member of the Village United Methodist Church for most of his life. He had a great sense of humor, an edge in the business world, an impeccable character, and lived with sophistication and class. Gene enjoyed home decorating, music, crossword puzzles, photography, and was nothing short of a gourmet chef; but most of all he enjoyed and cherished his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary and sons, Billy and Nicky. Gene is survived by his son, Lonnie Gene; grandchildren, Brian Sigman and Christen Sigman-Amanis; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Jesse, Madison, and Dylan. Gene will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Smith and Kernke Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
