Lonnie Gene Sigman

Lonnie Gene Sigman passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on October 7, 2013. Born January 16, 1955 in Ardmore, Ok to Mary Elizabeth Scrivner and Lonnie Eugene Sigman. Lonnie had a passion for life, music and people and had a great sense of humor. He is survived by his twin children Brian David Sigman and Christen Dawn Amanis. His love for his grandchildren Nicholas, Brooklyn, Zander, Jesse, Madison, Dylan and Beckam was immense. He loved his son in law Nic Amanis, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He adored above all else, in his final days playing for all those who would listen and enjoy. Lonnie served in the Air Force. He also helped start guitar lessons for Vets at the VA which is now nationwide. He was so talented in all instruments he played, and also an amazing singer and song writer. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and younger brothers, Billy and Nicky Sigman. Lonnie will be dearly missed by all who knew him and by the subsequent legacy of music that will never materialize. But his lessons and tutelage will live on within other musicians who forge their own path, ever guided by Lonnie's hand, to impress the rest of the world, which was his way.
