Loretta Plugge, age 82, went to be with the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease on Saturday, November 14, 2020 around 11:00 pm. Her last days were spent in loving hospice care surrounded by her husband and children.Born in Hartman, Arkansas on October 3, 1938, to Appalonia E. and Alex J. Soerries, Loretta was the sixth of 9 children. She was predeceased by both of her parents and her siblings; Joseph B. Soerries, Alfred Benedict Soerries, Fr. Denis Soerries, Norbert Soerries, and William Frances Soerries.She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Don Plugge, her four children; Michelle (James) Scarcelli, Celeste (Scott) Lee, Denise (Steve) Hart and Gregg (Suellen) Plugge; and her 8 grandchildren; Jonathan Lee, Cameron Lee, Sarah Plugge, Garrett Plugge, Shane Hart, Gabrielle Hart, Isabella Scarcelli, and Gianna Scarcelli. She is also survived by siblings; Matthew Soerries, Alex Soerries Jr., Cecil Soerries and Mary Ann Soerries.Loretta worked in the family business, Plugge Custom Furniture, in Oklahoma City and was a gifted interior designer and an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners for many years.Her family will miss her bigger than life personality; and how she loved talking politics, dancing, laughing, playing games, shopping, and spending time with those she loved.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church and may be viewed online at https://www.ckcokc.org/live-streaming.
