Lorraine Hay

Lorraine Hay passed away peacefully on September 17th with her surviving children and granddaughter at her side. Lorraine was born December 14, 1925 in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School in 1943. She married Walker "Dub" Hay in 1944 and they celebrated 58 years of marriage prior to his death in 2003. The couple raised three loving children, Jeff, Sheridan and Brett and were further blessed with four grandchildren Holly, William, Alexander and Coit and with daughters-in-law Elizabeth Hay and Carrie Hay and son-in-law Gary Conrad. Lorraine was active in many social and service organizations including PTA, the Girl Scouts, the Cub Scouts and was a founding member of the Gamma Book Club. After raising her children Lorraine began a career at the State Insurance Fund Of Oklahoma where she ultimately served as a personnel manager. Lorraine valued her family and loved being with them, especially during the holiday season. A memorial service will be held at Smith & Kernke 14624 N. May Avenue on Tuesday September 22nd at 2:00 PM. Burial service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
