She worked as a special education teacher for Midwest City School District for 27 years. She always loved her students as if they were her own children. She took pride watching them develop into successful adults. She retired from Midwest City High school in 2007. Lynda was a special lady. Her kind heart, free spirit and genuineness made her the life of the party. She was loved by all. Her true love was for her family (especially her grandchildren). She was very proud of each of them. She enjoyed sandy beaches, all types of music but especially loved Jazz, dancing and enjoying life. She was politically opinionated and was a prominent advocate promoting equal rights. Lynda loved all her children with her whole heart but always had a special bond with her son Toby who stood by her side through it all, who has never wavered in his support, and whose love was unconditional and without boundaries. Lynda will be truly missed by her family, friends and of course by Jingles. Heaven has gained an Angel and we look forward to seeing you again walking on the streets of gold.
