Lynda Hull 72 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family during a brief hospital stay on Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was born May 16, 1944 in Miami, Florida to Rosemarie (Shehee) and Robert Gordon Fisher; and raised by her loving stepfather Walter Stanton. She married the love of her life David Hull on October 16, 1969. Lynda graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 studying Education and Education Psychology. She worked as a special education teacher for Midwest City School District for 27 years. She always loved her students as if they were her own children. She took pride watching them develop into successful adults. She retired from Midwest City High school in 2007. Lynda was a special lady. Her kind heart, free spirit and genuineness made her the life of the party. She was loved by all. Her true love was for her family (especially her grandchildren). She was very proud of each of them. She enjoyed sandy beaches, all types of music but especially loved Jazz, dancing and enjoying life. She was politically opinionated and was a prominent advocate promoting equal rights. Lynda is predeceased by her husband David Hull; parents Rosemarie and Robert Fisher; stepfather Walter Stanton and granddaughter Katrina Rivera. Survivors include, her 5 children, daughter, Michele Speziale and husband Sam; son, Johnny Howe; daughter Sue Birdsong; son Toby Hull and fiancé Victoria; daughter Brianna Hull; 6 grandchildren, include Vincent Rivera, Adam Hull and wife Jamie, Danielle Leffingwell, Adrienne Hull and Anthony Montoya, one great grandson, Vincent Rivera Jr; sisters include, Vickie Jones, Lisa Kubis and Valerie Stanton and husband Jay from Florida. Lynda loved all her children with her whole heart but always had a special bond with her son Toby who stood by her side through it all, who has never wavered in his support, and whose love was unconditional and without boundaries. Lynda will be truly missed by her family, friends and of course by Jingles. Heaven has gained an Angel and we look forward to seeing you again walking on the streets of gold. Funeral services will be held at Quail Springs Methodist Church, 14617 N Pennsylvania Avenue, Edmond, OK 73134 on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
