Lyndsay Elizabeth Meyer, age 31, of Edmond was born on January 3, 1981 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Willard F. Barnett and Marsha (Smith) Barnett. She passed away on April 25, 2012 in Edmond, OK. Lyndsay graduated in 1999 from Edmond Santa Fe High School before earning a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She lived in Norman where she met her husband, David Meyer. Lyndsay had broad interests and her bright intellect afforded her many work opportunities. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Global Software Corporation in Edmond, a teacher at Erna Krouch Pre-School in Oklahoma City, and a Campaign Coordinator at OPUBCO in Oklahoma City.
In 2005, Lyndsay and David became proud parents with the birth of their beautiful daughter, Isabella Malin Meyer. Lyndsay was a loving and devoted wife and mother and relished spending quality time with her daughter, with whom she shared a particularly special bond.
Lyndsay was preceded in death by her grandfathers Willard Barnett, Sr. ("Papa"), and Bruce Smith. She is survived by her husband David, daughter Isabella, parents Willard and Marsha Barnett, grandmothers Lois Barnett ("Memaw") and Marguerite Smith ("Mimi"). The memorial service will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Smith & Kernke Funeral Home on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.
