Lynn Richard LeGrand, a cherished individual who touched the lives of many, was born on November 4, 1944, in Enid, Oklahoma. He was the beloved son of Richard and Irene LeGrand, and brother of Faye Irene LeGrand. Throughout his life, Lynn exemplified a quiet strength and reserved demeanor, which endeared him to all who knew him.
His dedication to service was evident during his three years in the Army, which included a significant period of time spent in Vietnam. This experience shaped his perspective on life and instilled in him a deep appreciation for the freedoms many enjoy today.
Lynn had simple pleasures that brought him joy, such as feeding squirrels, a delightful habit that showcased his gentle nature. He was an avid news follower, always keen to stay informed about the world around him. His love for leisure led him to the sport of golf, where he could spend hours on the course, enjoying both the game and the serene surroundings.
Professionally, Lynn had a remarkable career that spanned three decades with Kerr McGee Oil and Gas. His commitment to his work was unwavering, and he left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry.
Lynn is survived by several cousins who held him in high regard and treasured the warm memories they shared with him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. As we remember Lynn, we celebrate a life marked by service, gentleness, and enduring love.
