Madelyn Holler Allsman of OKC was born in Pawnee and grew up in Cleveland, OK where she g r a d u a t e d with honors from Cleve¬land High School. She later at¬tended col¬lege at O k l a h o ¬ma State University and became a member of Alpha Chi Ome-ga sorority. While attend¬ing school at OSU, she met her husband Jim Allsman from Hominy, OK and they were married on November 13, 1955. In 1953 Madelyn won the State Piano con¬test in Tulsa and shared her love of music with her fam¬ily and friends. She enjoyed and supported OSU sports and af ter her husband re¬tired they enjoyed their fa¬vorite hobby of traveling to National Parks and wilder¬ness areas around the coun¬try photographing wildlife. Madelyn was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in OKC. Survivors in¬clude her husband Jim Alls¬man; her daughter Cathy Gardner, son-in-law Jim, her grandchildren Mallory and T.J. and her cherished pet Sandy as well as other rela¬tives and friends. Graveside services will be held at the City Cemetery in Cleveland, OK Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of f lowers, donations may be made to WildCare Founda¬tion 7601 84th Street, No¬ble, OK 73068.
