Madonna Nadine Cornelson was born in Clinton, OK on July 22, 1928, to Juanita (Stewart) & Jake Cornelson and passed away June 11, 2013, at Mercy Hospital OKC. Madonna lived in Erick, OK when she was young, and the family later moved back to Clinton where she graduated from Clinton High School (1946). She also attended Southwestern College in Weatherford. Madonna was the first white woman adopted into the Cheyenne-Arapaho Indian tribes and was given the name Yellow Fawn. Madonna was an exec secretary at the Western Oklahoma Tuberculosis Sanitarium, co-owner of a bridal consultant business, managed the Hub Restaurant, owned & operated an interior design store in Altus. She was office manager for Chrysler-Plymouth dealerships in Clinton and El Reno. She ran a rental car operation. She later became one of the first female car & truck salespeople in Oklahoma where she won numerous sales awards. After she retired, she moved back to Clinton to take care of her mother and moved to Edmond in 2007. She was a resident at Copperlake Estates in Edmond. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Clinton, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter Michale Marcy and husband Keith of Clinton, daughter Nancy Richardson of Edmond, granddaughters Brandii Goossen of Clinton and Kailey Richardson of Edmond, great-grandchildren Devin Ring & Shelbi Goossen of Clinton. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Smith & Kernke Chapel. Interment will be at 3pm at Clinton City Cemetery.
