Manya Szczepka

Maria Manya Szczepka, 79, died December 7, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Born of a Belarus family, she immigrated with her family to the United States in 1951. She is retired from Lucent Technologies after over 40 years of service. She is preceded in death by her mother Paulina Szczepka, brothers Michael Szczepka, Wladimir Szczepka and Arkadij (Archie) Szczepka, as well as her sister Jadwiga (Judy) Helmel. She is survived by sister-in-law Jerrie Szczepka, nieces Helen Szczepka, Tammy Szczepka and Katrina Szczepka-Eppler, nephews Tony Helmel and Daniel "Scooby" Eppler, and life-long friends Nadia Donnelly and Toma Malikoff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to the St. Elijah Flowers That Do Not Wither Fund. Funeral will be held Saturday, December 12 at 1pm at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel.
