Marguerite Swick, 96, got her wish for angels to take her on Sunday, February 5, the Lord's Day. Known as "Boma", there was nothing more important to her than family. She wants no tears, but a celebration of her life and memories. Knowing that she had a wonderful life, she was always praying for the next step, eternity. Marguerite was preceded in death by her precious husband of 70 years, Felix Swick along with her son, Michael Swick and just recently by her daughter, Rozanne Dennis. She is survived by one daughter, Sally Oliver and husband, Don; two grandchildren that she adopted and raised as her own, John Swick and Lorraine Barta Colton; and sister, Virginia Keeling of Colorado. Marguerite is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and lived long enough to see and enjoy three great-great-grandchildren. She was the end of five generations. She died peacefully at home in the presence of her family including her great grandson, Joey Barta, her primary caregiver for the past seven years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9am-5pm on Tuesday and a Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am on Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
