Marion Clayton (Beatty) Yaeger was born January 8, 1929 in Wichita, KS the first of two daughters born to Henry Clayton Beatty and Mary M (Schott) Beatty, died March 19, 2017. A 1947 graduate of Benson High School, Omaha, NE she moved to Oklahoma City with her family in 1948, where she continued to live the remainder of her life. In 1955 she began a 37-year career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., Certified Public Accountants, from which she retired in 1992. In 1984 she married Carl E Yaeger with whom she enjoyed 25 years of happiness until his death in 2009. In addition to her animals which at times included rabbits, cats, dogs, and horses, she also held a lifelong interest in the arts, enjoying literature and music, having been active in the Central Oklahoma Opera League and Chamber Music in Oklahoma, as well as an informal reading and discussion group. During her time at Peat Marwick, she was active in Executive Women International. Since 2000, she has been a resident of Epworth Villa where she participated in all aspects of life there, including planting and harvesting three garden plots from which she furnished fresh picked garden vegetables to residents, friends and family. Besides her beloved cat, Marion is survived by her sister, JoAnn (Mrs. Jim) Booher of Oklahoma City, her brother-in-law, Jim; two nieces, Carolyn Booher, of Oklahoma City and Sarah (Booher) Madden of Paradise Valley, AZ; two nephews, Clay Booher (Michelle) of Tuttle, OK and Matt Booher of Oklahoma City; two great nieces, Monica and Caitlin Madden of Paradise Valley; three great nephews, Colin Booher (Nicole) of Midland, TX, Blaine Booher (Kacie) of Oklahoma City and Andrew Madden of Paradise Valley; one great-great niece, Finleigh Booher of Midland. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. on Friday, March 24, at Brill Chapel, Epworth Villa, 14901 N Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City.
