Marjorie Donnelly

Marjorie "Granny" "Gigi", loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the age of 94. Marjorie spent her life caring for her family as a loving homemaker; wife of James E. "Bud" Donnelly and mother to her son, Pat. She was also a dear friend to many and mothered those in need. She taught others through her example the true definition of hospitality. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, good cooking, and the twinkle in her eye and infectious laugh. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; and one brother, Jack "Buddy" Hughes. She is survived by her son, Pat Donnelly and wife Linda; three grandsons, Bryan Donnelly and wife, Alison, Kevin Donnelly and wife, Lindsay, Michael Donnelly and wife, Ashley; five great-grandchildren, Rylie, Jayden, Kellen, Ava and Dane. All will miss her sweet guidance and presence. Services will be held 10AM Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Lakeside United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to either Lakeside United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
